ARW Landscape Design - Simplify Your Yard

Sunny days!

With the weather getting warmer, don't forget to water your plants or turn on your irrigation system.  If you don't have an irrigation system like me, make sure to give your plants a good, deep watering.  If the sprinkler has been on for a long time (longer than 15 minutes) and the water is puddling, and running off the surface you've probably watered too much.  The soil should be wet, but not running off the surface.  You can always check to see if the soil is getting wet by sticking your fingers into the ground a few inches.  Established plants should be okay without additional water through the dry months, but new plants will need to be watered every few days.

Information about the established plants is very useful to a reader who gets confused while watering new plants and the established one.I came across this blog while getting details about sprinkler's running time.
